TEST CASE EXPORT AND TEST AUTOMATION WITH MODICA
DOCUMENTATION
MODICA offers different export variants in order to save the specified test cases in a suitable format for a documentation or discussion:
- HTML
- XML
The documents generated during HTML and PDF export show the test case organised to the actions and related to a transition (exit action of the outgoing state + action of the transition itself + enter action of the importing state). The elements to be displayed in these exports are individually selectable. This enables a compact view of the test case with all information relevant to the user.
TEST AUTOMATION
When the model elements are linked with function calls of the test automation systems, directly executable test cases can be exported out of MODICA in the test automation environment. Currently supporting automation tools are:
- EXAM
- MESSINA
- Generic (with test fragments)
- Further tools on request
The connection of further tools is continuously developed.
